Fitness 4 Fun — Card Game (1 Deck)

• Nobody has to be talked into exercising — the card tells them to move.

• Rounds are short, so it fits between homework and dinner.

• Mixed ages play the same game — a six-year-old and a grandparent get dealt the same hand.

• No screens, no batteries, no equipment. It goes in a bag and travels.

• Built for groups — 2 to 8 players, which makes it work in classrooms and camps as well as living rooms.

1. Deal 7 cards to each player. Put the rest face down as the draw pile, then turn the top card over to start the discard pile.

2. On your turn, match the top card of the discard pile by number, color or exercise.

3. No match? Draw one card. If it plays, play it. If not, your turn passes.

4. Land on an Exercise Card and you do the move — everyone else counts your reps.

5. Down to one card? Shout “Fitness 4 What!” Forget, and if you get caught you draw one more.

6. Play your last card, shout “Fitness 4 Fun!” and you win.
